410 gears dont require a new tune. I guess I should be complaining about it then, huh? Lowering the gears in the rear end will have the same effect as driving with the transmission in a lower gear..... the engine will run faster to achieve the same speed. You go through gears to gain the energy necessary to increase the speed and increase the momentum. Are 4.10 gears good for daily driving training. Or you can buy one already done. Break in gears: its not hard to do, and it definatly won't hurt to do it. I want to downsize tire size! Automatics can be a little trickier to diagnose. Best truck gear ratio for highway driving.
