I wrote a review about this company after speaking with several people. I'm just dropping it & have committed to never shop at this location riously, there are so many C&B's in LA - don't waste your time here. She offered me a ten percent discount, which I laughed at. But when I really faced problems, because the items were defective, the seller refused to change them, because these items were bought on sale. The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction. This doesn't make things easy because I work for a living. There are other stores and this problem isn't just with me! When you want to buy sometime. I am getting better service from Wayfair who immediately answers the phone. I went there to furnish our new house and with a laundry list of about 15 different items, I was amazed to find almost half of them, and some at their floor sample sales! Be wary of the reviews for items directly on the C&B website.
I'd like to give a special shout-out to Fara and Tony who have gone so far above and beyond- they've turned my wife and I into C&B advocates. We finally got our full order a couple days later. We are so excited for our new sectional and are overall very happy with the customer service at C&B. I called the store to get the delivery time changed. I am still waiting to get the table delivery rescheduled - after having paid for it over 6 weeks ago. We spent over $5000 and a lot of the furniture started having issues after a couple of months. When the delivery truck arrived, I was informed that the couch had only three legs and could not be delivered. She actually cared about our needs. What good is that???? I am so disappointed. It was quite unpleasant. I emailed the company per their instructions at least four days ago and no one has responded. Obviously the company does not want to hear from customers directly. My prediction is that Crate and Barrel will be gone in less then five years.
Yes, the prices are a bit high but just love their stuff. The product range is fantastic, this Mirror in particular has been a beautiful addition to our home, and the image on the website does not do it justice. I place my order anyway and then I was shocked to discover that they billed my CC immediately for the entire order before they even shipped one product! At first, I thought that Crate & Barrel... At first, I thought that Crate & Barrel are just for traditional furniture style folks with too much money in their pockets... but I was just proven wrong today! I shop here frequently. 6 Six weeks in total!!!!! Told they had no idea when chair might come, would I like it in a different color/ (###****) there any recourse with this horrible horrible service? Other reputable companies, like Amazon, accept responsibility for the integrity of their offerings and include a refund of shipping fees when they are at fault. I ordered the ottoman from the Crate and Barrel at Willow Bend in Plano, TX, and it was delivered to my condo in far North Dallas. Got an email on the 3/29 from C&B stating that my couch was ready to schedule delivery. Crate and Barrel now has contact-free curbside pickup available at select store locations. It's a bummer because I had such a great experience in the store and we are really happy with our furniture. I always like to browse the section in the middle with all the cool kitchen gadgets - stuff that you will actually use once you get it home. Then I would twitch my nose, move to the bedroom area, and well, the rest is a little PG 13 so I'll leave it up to your imagination.
This whole thing make NO sense. Damien, the sales manager there, was absolutely wonderful. Find a comfortable sofa for your living room. This is the biggest Crate and Barrel that I have ever visited. Emailed the customer service number and no reply. Terrible customer service. If you live in Arizona you don't have many options for Crate and Barrel locations so we are stuck with this one. Love the stainless steel pots, I need to get another one soon. I hope that this review and others help the Scottsdale Fashion Square team to improve their customer service. Unless you do not already own a bed and sleep on the floor this is ridiculous!!
It was in our living room and we sat on it while watching TV or when guest came. Fortunately, the driver was considerate enough to put it back on his truck and return it to the warehouse. She told me that CandB doesn't normally give a discount on their furniture, either. I love my redish with black accents dinner set. Only buy furniture if you are willing to wait upwards of 4 months to get your items. A couple of days prior to delivery, I received an automated phone call reminding me of the delivery date.
This is my second review for Crate & Barrel and the only time I have ever written a review for a retail store online. I was harried and am thankful for the company's help now. That tells a lot about quality. The furniture and accessories and most of the lamps and floor rugs have been perfect. I shop here frequently and love their style and prices. Unfortunately, even after being on the phone and going over everything multiple times, the sectional was ordered backwards. After an hour was able to get someone else online. I am going to the store in morning. We will be hosting Christmas this year and now we have to continue using our folding plastic chairs. This is really upsetting.
Then, I called CB2 that day (6/14/19) at 2:04 pm CT to tell them what happened and that I wanted it out of my apartment. Stay away from Rustic Point Furniture! While my budget has not afforded furniture pieces to date, I have purchased many accessories and art pieces, etc. She told me that it was in the small print of my paperwork and I should have read that instead of listening to the sales person. Love the products and services. I have been shopping at this location for at least 15 years. I was on hold for 45 minutes before a agent answered. We did not sleep on the sofa or something like that. After calling several times, they finally told me it was available to be shipped. I ordered several thousand dollars worth of furniture... I don't know what to do! I called and Ann took care of us and graciously replaced the table, explaining they had a problem with cracking but we could try again. When we placed the order we were advised that we would get a discount if we applied for a Crate & Barrel credit card. I can't say enough about my experience there.
