May 26, 2010 – Shelved. I will say there's one thing I think the book did pretty darn well that surprised me, which is how scarred Simon is by his dad's rejection. In this moment, he tries to pull away, but Daphne does not let him and forces him to ejaculate inside of her. The few men who have asked for her hand are either too old or otherwise unsuitable, and those with whom Daphne might consider a match seem to only be able to think of her as a friend rather than a wife.
