First described as murder-suicide - belts looped around their necks, they were found seated beside their basement swimming pool - police later ruled it a staged, targeted double murder. Jesus on a tricycle, can this book really have had an editor? This story is amazing. He uses the outside frame of the story to hint that trouble abounds in the present-day world, but it is not enough. If you can ignore that this entire book is completely pointless and full of a non-love story that is really starting to grate, it can be quite entertaining.

BUT BECAUSE HULK THINKS THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND MAKES HULK ROLL EYES AND SNORT AT THOUGHT OF 100% PERFECT KVOTHE! And, most importantly, she adds NOTHING of value to the story even in the barest possible meaning of the term! Is not available in Brazil. But honestly, that person was pretty drunk at the time, so you might want to take it with a grain of salt. It was a hope of satisfaction. All right, so the review of Wise Man's Fear will focus on one question: Is it as good as the first? Grief changed everything. This book build on interesting ideas but the story progression is to slow and tedious.

I give Rothfuss full credit for finally telling us that there are some things Kvothe is not good at. At first I was concerned that Nick Podehl wouldn't have the dramatic flair to pull off the enormity of Kvothe's character but after 7 minutes into the audiobook I realized he is the perfect fit for the reading role. Loving how Rothfuss handles the switch from Kote to Kvothe. I am rounding up from a 4. I am now indifferent as to what happens next. 1000 pages of him speaking... come on. But these ideas were slender as a thread, with one counterpoint breaking them, leaving only mumbling posters and unsatisfied thinkers. Listen to me and listen carefully - THAT BITCH WILL DRAG YOU DOWN!
