It is about 34 degrees outside... Any help? Over time, propane and the pressure it's under leaches a substance from the hose that can clog the heater's system. Since the F271802 & F271803 only see low pressure, the oily substances are not squeezed from the hose material. There is some sort of pressure valve inside one of the hose fittings that takes minutes under pressure to open, and gas will not flow freely until it does. Some folks have had issues with their Mr Heaters (but I dont have one so) of some hoses having oil squeezed from the rubber compound and plugging the heater orifice(? ) This way, you are feeling warm and conserving your propane.
I believe there is still gas in it because when I shake it, I can feel that there is liquid inside. Letting it sit for a minute with the tank open has no affect.
