It runs just fine with starting fluid but it slows to a stop without it. I even had it towed and had the computer changed and still no spark any suggestions. The plug on the distributor are bad about going out on these trucks. All Toyota did to take over, was to make cars a little bit better, and I mean a little bit. Cannot seem to diagnos the problem. Make sure the hold down is positioned properly on the shaft, and the bolt is tightened to specs. At this point, you could either remark the balancer for true TDC based on your existing timing tab or buy an aftermarket adjustable timing tab and balancer degreeing tape.
